Okay, ignore my last live journal post.

It's just taking time for the domains expiration to filter down through the DNS servers. I can still see Fantasy World through my ISP, however others are reporting that the site is down for them. I've had no response from the website host still, and speaking to another customer of the same host over MSN (who's site has been down for over a month), it doesn’t look like this problem is going to be resolved soon.

I am looking into starting the move. More updates soon.

This is just a brief reminder that signups for Battle Royal end on January 5th. This will be the final large-scale character battle contest we hold at Fantasy World, and with a chance to win either $100 in gift cards or cash or two free video games of your choice; there really is no reason not to enter.

All the necessary details can be found here. Go here to make your battle predictions, and if you are unsure about a character, you can look them up on either this list or in the image gallery. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

l_loire is looking for character suggestions for Battle Royal, the eigth and final major character battle contest to be hosted at Fantasy World XD. The theme for this final contest: is a random character battle contest, so just about any video game character is fair game! Please send all suggestions by either:

- Private Messaging "S. Roth" on Fantasy World.
- E-mailing battleroyal@fantasyworldxd.com with the subject line "Contest Suggestions".
- Posting a comment into my LiveJournal (http://l-loire.livejournal.com) or the FW community on LiveJournal (http://community.livejournal.com/fwunlimited/).
- Or Instant Messaging him via AIM (Xcbrian2), Yahoo (LLoire01), or MSN (LLoire1119@hotmail.com).

Please note the following when suggesting characters:
1) No characters from PC games.

2) Since he began taking suggestions a few contests ago, there have always been 1 or 2 people who gives me a list of EVERY FINAL FANTASY CHARACTER in existence. While I appreciate the FF love, keep in mind that if any FF characters make it into the bracket, there will be 2 or 3 at most.

3) Any character is fair game for suggestion into the final bracket, except for the past 7 contest winners. They were: Laguna Loire (FF8), Nemesis (Resident Evil 3), Scorpion (Mortal Kombat), Samus Aran (Metroid), Jessica (Dragon Quest 8), Link (Legend of Zelda), and Cloud (FF7). These characters, along with whoever the winner is here will participate in the Tourmanent of Champions, tacked onto the Summer Contest in summer of 2008.


Please help S.Roth create this years contest bracket with your suggestions. Signups for the contest open in December, and remember, the Grand Prize is TWO VIDEO GAMES OF YOUR CHOICE. Do it now!
