The Manhunt 2 ban - Knowledge is power article.
In response to the recent Manhunt 2 controversy, Biran, aka S.Roth, has written an article, which he has sent to various videogame magazines and websites. You can read it here on Fantasy World.

Once again, the video game industry is under fire. Government and advocacy groups are crying foul over the latest upcoming video game by Rockstar, Manhunt 2. Rockstar--the Quentin Tarentino of the video game industry. Banned by the UK because of its gory content, Manhunt 2 is facing just as much debate here in the States--advocacy groups are pushing for its ban, or at the very least, for the ESRB to slap its Adults Only (AO) rating on it, the group's strictest rating, usually reserved for games with graphic sexual content or prolonged scenes of intense, graphic violence, in which case, it would definitely warrant the restriction. Why is the game facing such hot debate? Moreover, why does ANY game with graphic violence face such intense debate? Parents and governments are worried that, like every violent video game, it will turn their little children into murderers, serial killers, rapists, and school shooters. Or so they say.
